Picton Water Treatment Plant
When population growth in the Greater Bunbury region demanded new sources of water, Geographe Civil assisted with construction of the new Picton Water Treatment plant.
Geographe Civil had the expert staff, comprehensive machinery and equipment and a competitive tender price to be appointed as a sub contractor to Monadelphous to carry out earthworks, roadworks, drainage, electrical and communication pit and pipe installation. The construction site had multiple sub contractors working across the project and there were occasions where other sub contractor work areas overlapped.
Geographe Civil implemented with Monodelphous, daily morning pre-start meetings to ensure communications remained open and the work programme was streamlined to account for all contractors’ work plans. The project met all time, quality and budgetary requirements.
