Steve Archer


Steve is a Bunbury region local and has been integral at Geographe Civil Pty Ltd from the beginning, ensuring the company development and constant sourcing of works to ensure provision of employment and sufficient growth whilst maintaining quality product and service. Steve has in excess of 35 years’ experience in the civil construction industry, from small tasks to expansive projects throughout Western Australia. Locally he has been involved in projects including:

  • Australind Bypass duplication and other major road works
  • Margaret River water treatment plant works
  • Various total subdivision construction and bulk earthworks
  • Comprehensive mining experience (open cut and underground)
  • Project management of new cells 4B and 12 at Banksia Road Landfill

Key Attributes

Steve has a reputation for being firm, but fair, in his dealings with staff and clients alike. His extensive experience covers construction of residential subdivisions in the South West area, road construction and total reconstruction within the Bunbury and Harvey Shires and emergency call out and project works for major utility companies. The achievement of the pipeline works carried out in Margaret River for Tenix / Monodelphous (Water Corporation) and also input toward civil works construction at the Picton Water Treatment Plant have been project highlights.

In his role as Director, Steve is responsible for managing the workshop for both Geographe Civil repairs and maintenance and a growing portfolio of external customers requiring mechanical expertise while still growing the transport operations. During a project’s construction phase, Steve is responsible for overall company performance and specializes in the operations and resourcing of key projects.

He is backed by extensive practical experience and a proven history of on time, on budget, high quality project completion.
