Shire of Harvey- Promenade Extension

The stripping of topsoil and clearing works are completed.

Earthworks have commenced this week to build up the formations for the future road. These works will continue over the next couple of weeks before asphalt is laid.


Cleanaway- Open Stormwater Catchment

Geographe Civil are currently completing works to build the formations for a stormwater drainage system.

 The works included constructing an open water drain to catch any runoff or excess site water.


shire of harvey - cathedral ave

Geographe Civil completed works for the Shire of Harvey to construct a new shared path and widen the the existing road.

The crew completed the preliminary earthworks for both the road and the shared path. The shared path stretches 1.2km from Lofthouse Drive to Buffalo Road.


Aqwest- Bickerton Place mains replacement

Geographe Civil was contracted by Aqwest to replace the water mains along Bickerton Place in Bunbury.

The works included the removal and laying of pipe, backfill, compaction and restoration, with also completing pressure testing and link-in connections.


Cleanaway - Cell 8 intersection

Geographe Civil completed a new intersection for Cell 8 at the Dardanup Cleanaway Site.

The works included the installation of drainage, importing gravel and constructing the road pavement for a 40mm asphalt overlay.


aqwest - Princep st water services

Geographe Civil were contracted by Aqwest to install water services to the new Services Australia building on Princep Street in Bunbury.

The works included connecting the new services to the existing water main, completing backfill and restorative works to bring the site back to its near original state.


Safeway Builders - Koombana Splash Park

Geographe Civil were contracted by Safeway Builders to complete the earthworks and preliminary foundations for the Koombana Splash Park in Bunbury.

Geographe Civil carried out works with stripping topsoil and dewatering to install the underground storage tanks for the parks water supply.


Simcoa - fume shed

Geographe Civil completed earthworks and civil works in constructing a new shed pad with an access ramp, installing new dual outlet hydrants off an existing line, building a new carpark and carrying out various drainage jobs.

The works included demolition and clearing of vegetation and trees, importation of fill and building of avnew road pavement and shed pad.

The crew installed footings to specific specifications and locations where the shed was bolted to. Drainage will was implemented and installed along the southern side of the shed.


Aqwest - Mondak Place

Geographe Civil were contracted by Aqwest to replace the section of water main at Mondak Place.

The works included the removal and laying of pipe, back fill, compaction and restoration, with also completing pressure testing and link-in connections.


Axis Hire- Profit Street

Geographe Civil are currently working on Profit street in Bunbury.

The job includes hardstand works for AXIS hires additional yard.


Jandco- Armadale

Geographe Civil have been contracted by the Water Corporation to complete works in Armadale.

The crew is working to construct hardstands and access works.

The job includes prepping the subgrade, importing and compacting the basecourse. Upon completion, a layer of asphalt and kerbing will be installed.


Jandco- Lesmurdie Pump Station

Geographe Civil have been contracted by the Water Corporation to complete works at the Lesmurdie Pumps Station in Perth.

The crew is working to construct hardstands and access works.

The job includes prepping the subgrade, importing and compacting the basecourse. Upon completion, a layer of asphalt and kerbing will be installed.


Aqwest- Hislop st mains Replacement

Geographe Civil have recently completed upgrade works to a section of water main in Hislop Street.

The works included excavation, installation, backfill, pressure testing and disinfection of the new main.

The works also included reconnection of new water services and restoration of driveways and lawns.


City of bunbury - victoria st carpark

Geographe Civil were contracted to build a carpark along the Northern end of Victoria street.

The job included the demolition of the existing road pavement, earthworks, installation of Protanks and brick paving. The new road pavement consists of a limestone roadbase and a layer of asphalt.


St John Of God- Carpark Construction

Geographe Civil have recently completed a new section of an overflow carpark for the St John of God Hospital in Bunbury.

The works included the removal of vegetation and tree roots, and the construction of a road pavement for the new parking bays.

Hanson Quarry- Gelorup

Geographe civil were contracted to complete infrastructure maintenance at the Hanson Quarry in Gelorup.

The works included upgrades to the carpark and haulage road.

shire of harvey - uduc rd carbay construction

Geographe Civil have completed works in constructing 25 car bays along Uduc Rd. The crew have removed and installed new kerbing. A limestone roadbase was constructed and on completion a layer of asphalt was laid.

City of bunbury - youth precinct

Geographe Civil completed the preliminary site works from demolition, bulk earthworks including screening and implementation of fill and the construction of utility services.

Geographe Civil constructed the skate park formations, including a skate bowl and a skate maze. The crew installed the sewage connection, pipework and completed concrete work.

Aqwest - carpark

Geographe Civil have completed earthworks and the construction of a road pavement to build the new carpark at the Aqwest office in Bunbury. The job included landscaping and the implementation of services.

City of Bunbury - Maidens reserve carpark

Geographe Civil was contracted by the City of Bunbury to construct a carpark at the Maidens Reserve. The works consisted of demolition, tree removal, earthworks, pavement construction, and verge reinstatement.

Southern Ports - shed 8-2 entry ramp

Geographe Civil widened the current concrete entry ramp to Berth 8- Shed 2 to allow for more room for the trucks entering and exiting shed 2. New kerbing was also installed.

Cleanaway- Cell 8

The construction of Cell 8 within the Dardanup Waste Facility, involved major earthworks, removing over 300,000m3 of spoil. In addition, Geographe Civil constructed and reshaped the site access roads and installed appropriate storm water drainage, as well as constructing a new landfill leachate extraction system. In the waste cell, HDPE lining with separation of Geotextile Fabric was laid, including the connection of the lining to the adjacent Waste Cell.

city of bunbury - profit st drainage refurbishment

Geographe Civils works consisted of the removal and replacement of drainage pits and connecting them to the existing pipework. During the works tree roots were removed from the existing pipes as well as upgrades to the kerbing and asphalt.

talison lithium - explosives facility construction

Geographe Civil have been awarded the Explosives Facility Construction for Talison Lithium within the Greenbushes Mine Site, to provide a heavy duty storage facility to hold Ammonium Nitrate.

This project consists of stripping of the topsoil and cut and fill to provide ideal base conditions for the pad to be constructed on. New drainage was installed as well as common trenching for all electrical services and water supply systems to be installed to the site area. New roadways were created to allow for access to the new facility to withstand heavy machinery when up and operating.

city of bunbury - washington Ave cycle way- stage 3

Works included widening Washington Avenue to cater for on-road cycle lanes. The existing road was saw cut along the edgeline and boxed out to be filled with a compacted limestone roadbase. Upon completion an overlay of red asphalt was applied, kerbing was put in place on both sides of the road. A 16 metre retaining wall was built to enable the path to miss the tuart tree.

City of bunbury - Washington ave cycle way- stage 2

Geographe Civil widened Washington Avenue to allow for on-road cycle lanes. The works consisted of the existing road being saw cut along the edgeline to be boxed out and replaced with a limestone roadbase. Upon completion an overlay of red asphalt was applied. During the works an existing brick paved intersection was modified and a new cyclist refuge island was built. The road geometry was modified to suit the additional constructions.

Geographe Civil widened Washington Avenue to cater for on-road cycle lanes. The works consisted of the existing road being saw cut along the edgeline which was boxed out and replaced with a limestone roadbase. Upon completion an overlay of red asphalt was applied. During the job two bus stops were reconstructed, a bus shelter relocated and Optus pits were adjusted.

Cleanaway - cell 7

Geographe Civil were engaged by Cleanaway to construct Cell 7 within the Dardanup Waste Facility. The construction of this cell involved major earthworks, removing over 290,000 m3 of spoil. In addition, Geographe Civil constructed and reshaped the site access roads and installed appropriate storm water drainage, as well as constructing a new landfill leachate extraction system. In the waste cell, HDPE lining with separation of Geotextile Fabric was laid, including the connection of the lining to the adjoining Waste Cell.

water corporation - parade road wastewater pump station

Geographe Civil constructed a new 64m long DN500 MSCL sewer pressure main at the Water Corporation’s Parade Road Wastewater Pump Station. This pressure main duplicated the existing pressure main to meet the expected demand for the local area.

In addition to the new main being constructed, Geographe Civil supplied and installed a new valve, removed unexpected concrete material within the drywell and imported clean sand fill as part of the reinstatement of site.

aqwest - hayes street mains replacement

Geographe Civil were contracted by Aqwest to complete the replacement and re-alignment of 240m of water main with new DN150 PVC-M pipe in Hayes Street, Bunbury. The existing main was made up of DN100 AC main which had begun to deteriorate.

In addition to the 240m in Hayes Street, Geographe Civil also updated approximately 30m of the same DN100 AC main in Moore Street with new DN100 PVC-M pipe.
