As an experienced HR Coordinator Kerry loves to assist employees to reach their goals. Kerry is looking forward to working close to home. Kerry loves the beach and spending time with family. Welcome Kerry.
Jarred Matheson recently joined our Geo Team as Operations Supervisor.
As a young and driven leader, Jarred likes to work at a fast pace and develop a team of skilled workers and contribute to successful projects.
He was attracted to the Geographe Civil family feel and is really looking forward to being home in the South West with his young family, after years of FIFO work.
Jarred enjoys tinkering in the shed and fishing.
A small sewer repair at a home in Busselton was recently completed for Water Corporation.
The owner took the time to send our Operations Manager an email praising our work.
“The job involved removing fencing, pavers & garden beds, all of which were replaced in a clean & professional manner.
Can you please pass on our appreciation.”
Well done Lindsay and team.
Our Geographe Civil team enjoying raising funds for "Australia's Biggest Morning Tea" for the Cancer Council on Thursday. We raised $410 and enjoyed some scrumptious food. Our Admin team supplied a packaged morning tea to our entire site based workforce.
PROEJECT UPDATE
Lining works have begun on our latest landfill capping project. The liner component is made up of three layers, a geosynthetic clay liner (GCL), LLDPE (black plastic) and geocomposite drainage material. Once these 3 layers are installed, 1.5m of growing medium will be placed over the top to promote a natural rehabilitation. Lining works are expected to take 8 weeks.

Here is what Nicole Eeles said when we asked her why she was joining the Geographe Civil family as Site Safety Coordinator.
“I’m joining Geo Civil because immediately when I spoke with Jan and met the team, I knew this company cares for its people. So, to work for a place that genuinely cares, in the industry I absolutely love is like winning the lotto for me! I can’t wait to get to know the rest of the team and am looking forward to getting stuck into work. Outside of work I love to get creative with photography and art, so to be working back in the beautiful W.A, I’ll be inspired artistically just by driving to work! What a win!”
This week our team used their exceptional problem solving skills. A home owner needed to connect to the main sewer line but the plumber couldn't find the connection point. So Geographe Civil came to the rescue. There was no access for a machine so we had to crane the excavator over the house to complete the works in the back yard. Good news is the home owner is now connected. Geographe Civil - "Connecting communities in the South West."
Our future leaders workshop was held at Sanctuary Golf Resort yesterday with our talented team working hard and having some fun. The spaghetti towers were a little lower in height than expected, however there was no verbal communication allowed. 😀
Geographe Civil investing in the future of our people.
