HSEQ Coordinator

Tia Cable is the HSEQ Coordinator at Geographe Civil, where she plays a vital role in supporting employees and ensuring compliance with Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality (HSEQ) standards across all project sites in the South West. With qualifications including Certificate III and IV in Work Health and Safety, Certificate III in Business, and formal leadership training, Tia brings a strong combination of technical expertise and leadership capability to her role.

Tia works closely with the HSEQ Manager to maintain compliance with legislative requirements and client expectations. She oversees site safety documentation, conducts audits and inspections, coordinates site-specific inductions, and assists in incident investigations. Tia is also actively involved in facilitating safety meetings, toolbox talks, project start-ups, and monthly contractor safety forums.

Her commitment to fostering a proactive safety culture is reflected in her work on injury management, emergency drills, environmental protection, and safety training delivery. Tia also provides valuable operational support through mechanical inspections, weed and seed checks, PPE management, and administrative relief as needed.

Known for her attention to detail and strong communication skills, Tia ensures that Geographe Civil consistently upholds its HSEQ commitments, contributing to a safe, compliant, and high-performing work environment.
